Social media sensation Jake Paul will box one more time this year, according to a report from The Sun.
As per the outlet, “The Problem Child” will compete against Tommy Fury on December 18, 2021, in Miami, Florida. Paul and “TNT” have gone back and forth for months and the two competed on the same card in August.
Fury, who is the half brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, took on Anthony Taylor during the undercard of the Showtime PPV that was headlined by Paul and former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Both Fury and Paul won their fights by decision.
Earlier this year, The Problem Child signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime. December 18th will mark his fifth professional boxing match, with Paul holding a professional record of 4-0 with three victories via KO/TKO. The more experienced Fury has a pro record of 7-0 with four wins by KO/TKO.

Paul Has 2 Former MMA Champions on His Mantel
As controversial as The Problem Child is, he has developed enough boxing skills to defeat two former MMA champions, Woodley and former ONE and Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren.
As a 2-0 licensed professional, Paul took on Askren. “Funky” came out of retirement for the fight, the first and only boxing contest of his combat sports career.
Askren has an impressive professional MMA record of 19-2 with one no contest. He obtained both his belts, as well as nearly 20 wins, by utilizing his high-level wrestling to dominate his opponents.
But when Funky stepped into the Triller boxing ring with The Problem Child, it was clear Askren hadn’t sharpened his hands throughout his career. Paul won the fight by first-round TKO.
Next up was Askren’s longtime training partner and friend, Woodley. “The Chosen One” was viewed as much more of a threat than Funky. Woodley, who holds a professional MMA record of 19-7-1, is known for his ferocious power, winning seven MMA contests by KO/TKO.
However, the Woodley that showed up on fight night was a fighter with a low output. Although he visibly hurt The Problem Child during the match, Woodley was unable to capitalize and the fight went all eight rounds. The Chosen One lost by split decision.

Fury Made His US Debut Against an MMA Fighter
As mentioned above, Fury fought during the undercard of Paul vs. Woodley. He took on Anthony “Pretty Boy” Taylor in a four-round contest. Pretty Boy has a professional MMA record of 7-5 and he took it to the boxer for all four rounds, but ultimately lost via unanimous decision.
Because of his skill and size advantage, TNT was heavily favored going into the fight and many were surprised to see that Fury wasn’t able to put Taylor away. However, as history has it, Fury notched the seventh professional victory of his undefeated career.
