Google’s newest version of Android is Android L. In their new commercials, Google teases the launch of Android L, the new Nexus 6, and the new Nexus 9. Check out the first spot, “Bus Stop,” in the player above. All three spots feature the tagline “Be together, not the same.” This is believed to be a reference to Android L’s ability to give a more unified experience across many devices, as well as the wide range of Android devices that appeal to people from all walks of life.
According to 9to5Google, the two upcoming Nexus devices that run Android L are going to have some impressive specs:
“We exclusively revealed the specs of the Nexus 6 (which may be known as the Nexus X) last month: a huge 5.9-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, Snapdragon 805 processor, generous 3GB RAM, 13MP camera with 4K recording capabilities and a 3,200mAh battery.
The Nexus 9 is expected to feature an 8.9-inch 2048×1440 display, an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of storage.”
The new Nexus devices are expected to debut on October 15 or 16, which is interesting timing given Apple’s upcoming iPad event on October 16.
Google is expected to announce their new Nexus 6 smartphones and Nexus 9 tablet in the coming days. Check out the video above from Android Authority, which reveals some interesting facts about the new Nexus 6.
In the “Winnebago” spot above, you can see a bunch of different Android users rocking out in a Winnebago. In the other spot below, which is entitled “Dance Party,” the ‘Droid droids keep the party going.
