It’s no secret that Seattle Seahawks runningback Marshawn Lynch loves talking to the media…
Okay, maybe not. In November, Lynch was fined $50,000 by the NFL for NOT talking to the media after the Seahawks disappointing 24-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, which then triggered ANOTHER $50,000 suspended fine from the 2013-14 season.
To add insult to injury, Lynch was fined $20,000 after their 28-22 NFC Championship Game win for his touchdown celebration where he noticeably holds his groin. Despite the vulgar action, the NFL IS STILL SELLING PRINTS OF THE PHOTO! It’s not like Lynch hasn’t done this before — he has multiple times.
Here is a clip of Lynch immediately after he takes the podium during Super Bowl Media Day:
Lynch would go on to… not answer questions this time around.
Lynch showed up — for five minutes to avoid the fine…
…so it’s doubtful the NFL takes disciplinary action this time, especially after what the action they already took during the season.
