The Orange Box Club goes back to 1934 when Lou Gehrig became the first athlete on a box of Wheaties.
Son of Dell (retired as the Hornets’ all-time leading scorer) and Sonya Curry, Steph is a 6-foot-3 27-year-old who went to Davidson College and was drafted 7th by the Warriors in 2009. His 29.2 points per game were second in the league in 2014-15, behind Anthony Davis’s 31.5.
With his induction into the hallowed Orange Box Club, Curry joins the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Lindsey Vonn, Shaun White, Willie Reed, Nastia Liukin, Bill Russell, Doug Flutie, Dr. J, Kirk Gibson, Roberto Clemente and scores of others.
