Lindsay Lohan Paid Just $100 a Day to Film Sex Scene in ‘The Canyons’

Not only did Lindsay Lohan star in a four-way sex scene with three porn stars in The Canyons, but she received a whopping paycheck of just $100 a day to film it. We know money is tight, Lindsay, but really? Surely you can do better than that… especially since its the first movie that you take your clothes off in. It would probably cost Beyonce at least a million bucks to do the same thing. Give yourself a little dignity, gurl!

New York Times writer Stephen Rodrick, who had complete access to director Paul Schrader before and during filming, revealed that Lohan would get the small per-day salary for filming the low-budget movie and equal share of the profits. Her contract also stated that she would have “no say in the decision making” of the movie and the sex scenes were “non-negotiable.”

Filming the 14-minute sex scene wasn’t all that easy, though (granted, I wouldn’t joyfully skip into a sex scene for just $100 a day, either). Lohan reportedly threw a tantrum and locked herself inside of a closet before stripping off her clothes to film the scene and made the director shed off his clothes as well to feel more comfortable.

This wasn’t the first of Schrader’s problems with the troubled actress during filming. One night before a 6 a.m. call time, Lohan went out partying with Lady Gaga until 5:30 in the morning. After showing up three hours later, the actress eventually went home after being diagnosed with an “inner-ear infection.”

Oh, it doesn’t stop there. Apparently, LiLo also drove home from the set drunk after cast mates pleaded for her not to drive. She was, understandably, drinking before her sex scene. Though, Lindsay is denying that she got behind the wheel drunk. She says there was drinking on set, but she didn’t partake in the festivities.
