Tonight was Disney night on Dancing With The Stars, so we got to see out favorite stars taking on the characters of Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Mary Poppins. Take a look at the Top 10 Highlights from tonight’s show.
1. There Was an Amazing Opening Performance as Always>
Every week on Dancing With The Stars, the professional dancers do an opening performance together. Check out tonight’s performance.

Charlie White always gives an amazing performance and tonight was no different, but tonight he dropped his cane, which was a big flub. Even with his mistake, however, the judges still gave him a fantastic score.
3. Cody Simpson and Nene Leakes Were Announced as Being in Jeopardy

Both Cody Simpson and Nene Leakes were announced as having some of the lowest votes fairly early in the show, but the third couple in jeopardy, Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas, wasn’t announced until later. Ultimately, it was Cody Simpson who was sent home.
4. Donnie Osmond Was a Guest Judge
At #DWTS, @DonnyOsmond told me he'll be an "honest" judge tonight but not mean! He's ready to have fun. pic.twitter.com/pKeA1jFhZp

Donny Osmond was a guest judge on tonight’s show. While he loved most of the dances, he did give Cody Simpson a bit of a hard time, saying that Simpson didn’t look like he was enjoying the dance.
5. Amy Purdy Was a Beautiful Cinderella
Amy Purdy struggled this week to learn her dance and had a little bit of a breakdown over not having her legs to help her through the dance. As Purdy cried, partner Derek Hough hugged and consoled her. Even with the tears, they powered through and created a beautiful dance to “So This Is Love.” And, even though there was a lift, judge Carrie Ann would not deduct points because she felt the lift was necessary given Purdy’s circumstances.

Upon being reunited with partner Witney Carson, pop singer Cody Simpson decided to serenade her with a little song he wrote for her. Witney was very flattered, especially since Cody Simpson made the song up just for her. Then, of course, the two jumped into rehearsals. This week they danced to The Lion King soundtrack and Simpson played Simba. While the judges felt his dancing was wonderful, guest judge Donny Osmond wanted to see more emotion.
7. Tony Dovolani Was Jealous of Derek Hough
NeNe Leakes makes the perfect Cruella de Vil; stunning, amazing dress, awesome number! #DWTS @DancingABC #neneleakes

Last week, Nene Leakes had to switch partners and was given Derek Hough as her dance teacher. When Nene brought up some of what she learned with Hough to Tony, he was not happy and admitted to being a bit jealous. He told the cameras that of course it doesn’t make him happy to see his partner dance with someone else. Nene had had enough of Tony’s “attitude” for the day and left rehearsals. She told the cameras that it’s a good thing they’re not married or they’d be divorced.
The two of course, patched things up and Nene became very emotional after a beautiful dance where she received her best score to date, a 36 out of 40.
8. James Maslow Gave His Best Performance Yet
James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd performed a contemporary dance to “Let It Go” from the movie Frozen and it was flawless. The judges were completely taken by their dance and couldn’t believe how amazing it was. In fact, they received the first perfect score of the season with a score of 40.
9. Meryl & Maks Danced to The Jungle Book
Tonight was a big deal for the couple … Maks even shaved his face. In all seriousness, the couple gave a spirited and fun performance as they danced to the soundtrack of The Jungle Book.
10. Redfoo and Ricky Martin Will Be Guest Judges in Upcoming Shows
Next week, Redfoo from LMFAO will act as guest judge and in two weeks, Ricky Martin will be a judge as well. Plus, Ricky Martin will be a performer on the show. As far as tonight’s show, there were some celebrities in the audience in addition to the floor. Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo were there to watch the show and plug Derulo’s new album, which comes out tomorrow.
