The beloved Coen Brothers movie “Fargo” has been adapted into a new series for FX. In the two-minute video above, you can see clips from the upcoming series, which stars Martin Freeman, Oliver Platt, Bob Odenkirk, Colin Hanks, and Billy Bob Thornton.
Mashable reports that the TV series will feature a similar plot to the movie, but with new characters and new situations. The original film version of Fargo was a dark comedy that centered around a pregnant sheriff, who was trying to solve a string of murders.
The two-minute trailer above features tons of enticing and humorous snippets, including shots of a blow-up doll, a man who has been stabbed in the back of his head, and a man urinating into the gas tank of a car.
Fargo premieres April 15 on FX, and will be promoting the show on Twitter using the hashtag #awjeez.
