One disturbing theory is that The Walking Dead is going to do a big bait-and-switch on us. Glenn will survive but in a terrible twist, Daryl will die soon. We'd like to think that Daryl has enough plot armor to survive anything, but Kirkman sometimes likes to go Game of Thrones on his fans. If you read the subreddit for The Walking Dead, you'll see that some fans think the family that Daryl met last week are connected to a pretty twisted plotline from the comic books.
