Nicholas was pretty much the bane of Glenn's existence -- and possibly his death. Some fans believe there is absolutely no way that Glenn could have survived Nicholas' killing himself while they stood on a dumpster surrounded by zombies, pulling Glenn down with him as he fell into the hungry horde. Both others believe that Glenn will slide across the ground, with Nicholas' rapidly diminishing body shielding him, until he gets to the dumpster and slides underneath it.
