Katy Perry Twitter Page Hack

It looks as though Katy Perry has become the victim of a sinister Twitter hack. At around 8:30 p.m. Eastern time, Perry’s account tweeted out a number of odd messages which you can read above.

Those messages encouraged Perry’s 89 million followers to follow Sway or @sw4ylol. According to his page, Sway is from Romania. The “OTF” mentioned in one of the tweets could refer to the rap collective Only the Family, which features Lil Durk to name but a few. The group are associated with French Montana’s crew, the Coke Boys.

His tweets have been brief:

The tweets carried on over on Perry’s page, with the hacker apparently telling Taylor Swift, “Miss you baby.” The other message was targeted at @Keemstar which read, “u a f*g.”

The Twitter account then posted a SoundCloud link to this. It’s a song calling itself Witness 1.3. The hacker claims to be a new Katy Perry song. The song was later removed with SoundCloud contacting the hacker to say there’d been a copyright claim against the track from Universal Music Group.
