San Diego Comic Con International kicks off on Thursday, with a special preview night on Wednesday. With that in mind, it’s going to be very hard to get tickets at this point. It would be much easier to start planning for 2017 than trying to get a badge for 2016.

Can you still get a badge at this point? Tickets are already sold out on the SDCC website. The San Diego Union Tribune reported that badges sold out on February 20. Tickets for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday were sold out within 40 minutes.

The daily badges for Thursday, Friday and Saturday were $55 each, while the Sunday and Preview Night badges were $40 each.

At the moment, StubHub has zero tickets available, including individual days. Thee are a couple of listings on CraigsList and they’re not cheap. One person listed a three-day pass for $895.

If you are interested in going to SDCC in 2017, it really is time to start planning. If you click here, you can sign up for a Member ID, which is required to get your badge. Children under 12 are free with an adult. Junior and Military/Senior rates are available.

Each year, SDCC averages 130,000 attendees. You have to be sitting at your computer the second tickets go on sale.
