Gotham is back for another season of deconstructing the Batman mythos and creating all-new messes for Jim Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie, to get himself in and out of. Season three has been subtitled Mad City, although that could have also described the first two years. Read on to find out when the season three premiere airs on Fox.
In Mad City, we find Jim with a new job as a bounty hunter, roaming streets that are now filled with the animal/human hybrids Hugo Strange (B.D. Wong) was creating in the basement of Arkham Asylum. Among those hybrids is Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith), who is back again to get under Penguin’s (Robin Lord Taylor) skin. A recent preview also revealed that Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) will create a surprising alliance with Fish. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) is still trying to get to the bottom of his parents’ murder and is slowly realizing that there’s a sinister council that runs Gotham behind the scenes.
