Brittany Bell, a Guamanian-American actress, is the mother of America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon‘s new baby. Cannon confirmed on an episode of The Breakfast Club in November that he is the father of her child. Bell gave birth to a lovely baby boy on February 21. The baby’s name is Golden “Sagon” Cannon.
Bell and Cannon dated in 2015 and had an on-again, off-again relationship. She is about six months pregnant and has shared photos during the pregnancy on her Instagram page. Bell is also a beauty queen, serving as Miss Arizona in the Miss USA Pageant and as Miss Universe Guam.
Here’s a look at her relationship with Cannon and her career.
1. Bell Announced Her Pregnancy on Instagram a Week Before Cannon Confirmed the Baby Is His

Back on November 3, Us Weekly reported that Bell was expecting a child and speculated that Cannon might be the father. However, it wasn’t until a week ago that Bell confirmed she was expecting with an Instagram post.
In the image, seen above, she shows herself cradling her belly. “‘Children are a gift from God…’ Psalm 127:3,” she wrote in the caption.
She also finally posted a photo of her Halloween costume, in which she dressed as a gumball machine. “Throwback tuesday?.. lol Life growing inside you is fun during the holidays.. people ask what I/we dressed up as .. well.. here you go,” she wrote.
She also posted another photo with her friends. She wrote:
“A sweet moment of #celebration with a few of the many incredible women in my life. Missing the rest of you… Miss USA /Miss Universe not only puts you in a rare sisterhood no money can buy.. but your child ends up with some of the most naturally beautiful, sweetest, and strongest women from around the country/world to call Aunties!!”

After the baby was born, Cannon posted the above photo. “Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy cometh in the morning! No matter how hard the world may hit you, God always reminds us of our purpose,” Cannon wrote.
2. Cannon Confirmed He Was Expecting Another Kid on ‘The Breakfast Club’

Cannon was on The Breakfast Club radio show on Thursday morning, when he finally confirmed that will be a father again.
“Who said it wasn’t mine?” Cannon told the show’s hosts. “I’ve got a baby on the way … absolutely … God said be fruitful and multiply… I’m doing the Lord’s work … everybody get a baby! I’m passing them out.”

Bell took to Twitter on the day Cannon went on The Breakfast Club to share quotes from Doctor Strange that might shed some light on her thoughts about Cannon’s going public.

3. Bell Competed as Miss Arizona in 2010 & Miss Guam in 2014
Bell has competed in the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants twice, representing two different places. In 2010, she competed for the Miss USA crown representing Arizona. In 2014, she tried for the Miss Universe crown by competing as Miss Guam. In both pageants, she failed to make it past the first cuts.
Although she didn’t make it far in either competition, she was named “Miss Congeniality” at the 2010 Miss USA pageant. According to her website, she focused on “social, political, educational, and philanthropic avenues of leadership” when she had the Miss Arizona title.
Bell has also worked as Phoenix Suns dancer. In 2008, Sports Illustrated named her Cheerleader of the week.
4. Bell Is an Arizona State University Graduate With a Broadcast Journalism Degree
Bell’s LinkedIn page shows that she is currently based in Los Angeles and is the co-owner of Be Blushed, a make-up and hair services firm.
She is a graduate of Arizona State University, where she earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism in 2009. While she was studying, she worked for the Phoenix Suns and worked for Cronkite NewsWatch during her last semester.
As a model, Bell is represented by Ford Models. She also currently works as an Indian Fusion Dance Performer for Bollywood Step Dance.
On her website, Bell makes it clear that faith is important to her. She says:
I strive off of my faith and allow God to be my strength as I dream to gain an intrigue from the world to a point of success that allows me to inspire the lives of others. I want to reach a high level of philanthropic success, helping others with my own blessings. I don’t believe that there is a limit to what you can do with your talents. I am grateful to have each and every opportunity that allows me to combine faith and effort to ultimately result in success. I am never finished growing.
5. Cannon Also Has Twins With Ex-Wife Mariah Carey

Cannon and his ex-wife, singer Mariah Carey, are also the parents of twins Moroccan and Monroe, who are now five years old. Carey and Cannon were married between April 2008 and December 2014.
“They are in a great place and a real source of support for one another — plus a prime example of what coparents should be,” an insider told Us Weekly about their current relationship.
The couple was seen together at Carey’s Halloween party in October.
“It’s kinda the norm. It’s all rooted in love, it’s all rooted in positive energy,” Cannon told People Magazine. “There’s no hard feelings and ill will. Ultimately, it’s about putting the kids first and making sure they have the best childhood they could possibly have.”
In an interview with Power 106 on December 13, Cannon said that Carey confronted him after she heard about Bell’s pregnancy.
“She came at me first about it, so it was actually easier,” Cannon recalled in the interview with the radio station. “I don’t know how she heard about it, but she called me, and she was funny with it. She was like, ‘Mm-hmm, I heard about you out here in these streets.'”
