The Associated Press has reported that beloved Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson has died at the age of 82. Henderson’s manager Kayla Pressman released a statement to the AP, saying that Henderson was suffering from heart failure when she checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. She passed away on Thursday night, Thanksgiving 2016.
Henderson’s manager said that she passed away surrounded by family and friends.
In recent weeks, Henderson appeared on Dancing With the Stars to support her Brady Bunch daughter, actress Maureen McCormick. Henderson even appeared in one of her dances as she previously had been a contestant on the show in the past. McCormick took to Twitter shortly after the news broke, to pay tribute to her longtime friend and TV mother.
McCormick also posted a photo of herself recently with Henderson on the set of Dancing With the Stars.

Henderson was married twice in her life – first to Ian Bernstein and then to John Kappas, who died in 2002 of cancer, according to Variety. With Bernstein, Henderson had four children – Barbara, Joseph, Robert and Lizzie.
In her career, Henderson was most known for her iconic role as Carole Brady on The Brady Bunch, a sitcom that ran from 1969 to 1974.
