Although there is a new episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine airing on Fox tonight, fans of Kaitlin Olson’s The Mick will have to wait another week. Instead of airing the next new episode, a repeat of the January episode “The Fire” will air instead so Fox can stretch out the show’s 17-episode first season. The next new episode of the show, “The Implant,” doesn’t air until Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
In the previous episode of “The Mick,” Chip (Thomas Barbusca) tries to impress a cool kid at school with a sleepover. As usual for Mickey, things didn’t go as planned because the popular kid brought his girlfriend and her father showed up. Meanwhile, Ben (Jack Stanton) kept having nightmares. Alba (Carla Jimenez) was left to help the youngest Pemperton kid get over his fears.
In “The Implant,” Mickey has to stop Sabrina (Sofia Black-D’Elia) from getting breast implants. Photos from the episode also show Jimmy (Scott MacArthur) hanging out with Ben at a game.
By the way, Fox picked up The Mick for an early season two renewal in February. When the show debuted on January 1 after NFL football, the show earned a 3.7 18-49 rating, the best debut rating for a new Fox comedy since New Girl‘s debut in September 2011.
