Tonight, NBC will air a special American Ninja Warrior celebrity episode in honor of Red Nose Day. The episode will air on NBC at 8pm ET/PT.
With the help of the best ninjas in the country, nine brave celebrities will tackle the famed obstacle course in the name of charity. For every obstacle they complete, money will go toward Comic Relief Inc.’s Red Nose Day.
Derek Hough, Stephen Amell, and Natalie Morales are among the big names competing tonight in what is the first-ever celebrity edition of the show. As usual, Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila will serve as hosts, while Kristine Leahy will co-host. Tonight, the stars will take on some of the toughest obstacles in Ninja history like the Floating Steps and the Warped Wall, which will put their natural athletic ability to the test.
For those of you unfamiliar with Red Nose Day, it is a global campaign that aims to raise awareness and money for impoverished children across the world. Red Nose Day is run by the non-profit Comic Relief, Inc., which was founded in 1985. The campaign got its start in UK in 1998, and was launched in the US in 2015.
