Farrah Abraham: Teen Mom OG Cast Glad to See Her Gone

In March, US Magazine reported that Farrah Abraham was leaving ‘Teen Mom OG’ for the adult entertainment world.

Executive producer Morgan J. Freeman sat Farrah down in February and said, “This was a conversation that happened above me, without me, and has been given to me to come bring to you … It’s basically a decision where we’re asking you. You have had this critical role from 16 & Pregnant all the way to this. No one’s saying that you can’t do this. It’s just that if you’re going to go down that path, we can’t keep shooting this path.”

Farrah responded, “Who are you to tell someone to chose one thing? I don’t have to choose anything.” During a phone call later, Farrah said, “Honestly, webcams or adult entertainment or healthy sex lives or safe sex or all these things — all that stuff is more beneficial and I will always continue to do that, regardless if it’s my own show, not on MTV anymore. There are so many paths for me in my life. Hell, I’m only 26.”

In March, Farrah did not attend the reunion taping.

There were signs that things were headed to a dead end for Farrah months before. In January, she wrote an Instagram post in which she called MTV “hateful” and “horrible”, saying she was “moving on” from the series.

On Monday, Farrah took to Instagram to write, “It’s been a great 10 year era of Farrah for Teen Mom I always make the most out of life and I’m so blessed I got to be that fighter, the strong women, the honest single parent, showing motherhood can be glamorous, Joy, happiness, memories & no regrets,” she said.

She continued with a mysterious comment that read, “Life is beautiful & I’m thankful I was the (1) out of 10 teen moms statistically to overcome the challenges and struggles of teen parenthood. I want to add the struggles of being a teen parent were only half the struggles I felt but the other struggles from production, going through loss of Sophia father, depression, being famous, my mother, jealous friends, being a leader, political immature sh–, the control & power trips from society really added more & I have to say I rose about all the evil and all the hate by focusing on myself, loving, growing and developing what’s next to better our world for future generations.”

On Monday, Farrah’s mother told Dr. Drew that she believes Farrah’s psychological problems have taken over her daughter, and have prevented her from being part of the Teen Mom franchise.

“I run multiple businesses. I have so much fun as an entrepreneur,” Farrah told Dr. Drew during her interview.

Asked if Abraham had maintained any relationships with the Teen Mom cast, she said she has not spoken to any of them, and she hopes to stay away from the toxic relationships.
