Team Adam Levine on "The Voice" 2018
Adam Levine is a veteran coach on The Voice and he is super competitive on the show, to say the least. He is especially cutthroat when it comes to going up against his arch-nemesis on the show, his good friend, Blake Shelton. Levine takes the competition very seriously and he even scolds the audience to quiet down, at times, so that he can totally concentrate on making the right decisions. Over the course of his experience on The Voice, coach Levine told People that he being a coach on the show made him mature and grow up a little in order to effectively make a difference.
Levine revealed that when he first started out on The Voice, "I was this single dude who never thought about helping anybody with their career because I was too hyper-focused on my own ... I kind of had to grow up a little bit and do a job and provide a service for other people and teach them things I knew and play this crazy game." Now, Levine is married to model Behati Prinsloo and the couple has two young daughters together. Just recently, Levine supported his wife at the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, as she made her return to the catwalk after going on hiatus to help build their growing family. Levine shouted in excitement from his seat in the audience as Prinsloo strutted down the runway, blowing kisses at her man. In the past, Levine has only been able to attend one of Prinsloo's VS Fashion Show gigs because of his schedule with The Voice. Fortunately, this season, the dates worked out well, so Levine could attend.
Going into the top 10 tonight, the contestants who are left on Levine's team included Reagan Strange, and DeAndre Nico. Strange is from Memphis, Tennessee and she is just 14 years old, which makes her the youngest contestant on Levine's team for season 15. According to Commercial Appeal, because of Strange's young age, she has special guidelines to follow. For example, she gets out of the 12-hour-long Voice rehearsals earlier than some of the other adult contestants because she is a minor.
As for Nico, he definitely has the determination and the vocals to go far in the competition. He is also very humble. When Nico first moved into the top 13 this season, he told Beaumont Enterprise that he is thankful to God for being able to continue on as a part of The Voice. He said he has a lot more drive and energy left in him to give.
Adam Levine has been putting in a great effort to help groom his remaining two contestants for the show, as well as the music industry in general. It's clear that he is passionate about his job and hopes to make it to the finale with at least one of his contestants.
