‘The Voice’ Season 15 Teams: 2018 Top 10 Contestants

Photo by: Art Streiber/NBC "The Voice" 2018 Winners - Top 10 Season 15 of The Voice continues with the top 10 performing tonight. The judges' teams continue to shrink each week, which means that votes are very important to the outcome of the show. Tonight, the top 10 are set to perform and all of the 2018 judges are each hoping to have the winning artist on the show this season. Tomorrow night, the eliminations will continue and they are based on tonight's performances. So, if you are inspired by tonight's vocals or have a favorite contestant in the mix, be sure to cast your votes. Judges Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are the veteran coaches on the show and they are also champions, which means they are fiercely competitive. Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson are also returning judges and last season, Clarkson took home the win, so she definitely has her eye on the prize again. Clarkson actually has the most contestants left on her team, so the overall odds are in her favor. Even so, all four of the judges have contestants left in the competition. This week, the contestants will compete for spots in the top 8, which means that two contestants will be voted off the show. Tonight's performances will determine who is safe tomorrow and who will have to sing for the Instant Save real-time voting from viewers at home. Last week, the top 11 performed and Lynnea Moorer was sent home. Moorer was a comeback contestant, who was a cast-off that participated in the digital companion series The Comeback Stage. She earned her way back into the competition, but her time back on the show was short-lived. Recently, coach Blake Shelton weighed in on what he thinks of the other coaches this season, joking to Hollywood Outbreak that his rivalry with Adam Levine is what makes the show so fun and watchable. Shelton said, "If I didn’t have him as a punching bag down there, I don’t know what I would do ... The only real cutthroat things that are going on are things that are going on between the coaches." The jokes and insults thrown back and forth among the judges is what Shelton believes draws in viewers. It creates comedy relief. Of course, another big draw is that the show features some amazing music artists and fresh faces. Shelton joked that, "As far as the other coaches go, you know, they can kiss my butt. I don’t care, and I think that’s what people like about the show." Shelton also gushed over fellow judge Jennifer Hudson's talent and her many accomplishments but he also called her "the sneaky one" out of the judges. When it comes to Kelly Clarkson, Shelton had very flattering things to say about her. Shelton said, "I don’t know that there’s ever been a person that’s been a coach on this show that’s more excited about being a coach on this show than [her] and it shows." Shelton is pretty close to Clarkson, as well as her husband. Now let's get to know each of the teams left in the competition, as well as the individual contestants, starting with Adam Levine's team. Team Blake Shelton on "The Voice" 2018

Blake Shelton is known as a country music superstar, which explains why he often takes on a majority of the country hopefuls on The Voice each season. Shelton has a great track record of having the most winners in the reality competition and now, the show enters the top 10. Shelton has three contestants left on his team, which is more contestants than judges Adam Levine and Jennifer Hudson.

This season, the contestants who participated on Team Blake, during the battle rounds, were Dave Fenley, Rachel Messer, Mercedes Ferreira-Dias, Kameron Marlowe, Chris Kroeze, Joey Green, Kayley Hill, Keith Paluso, Kirk Jay, Michael Lee, and Caeland Garner. Going into the knockout rounds for season 15, the team had changed. The artists on Team Blake, who were involved in the knockouts, were Chris Kroeze, Colton Smith, Katrina Cain, Michael Lee, Dave Fenley, Kirk Jay, Kameron Marlowe, and Funsho. Now, the remaining contestants on Blake Shelton's team are only Dave Fenley, Kirk Jay, and Chris Kroeze.

Kroeze is 27 years old and he is from Wisconsin. When Kroeze found out that he was voted through to the next round, he tweeted out this message to his followers, "Thank you for voting me through America! Love you all!! Looking forward to working with Blake Shelton again!" Kroeze spoke with Parade about the anxiety that goes into the performances on The Voice, saying that, "We know everybody here. We don’t want to see anybody go. We certainly don’t want to go home ourselves. There is some anxiety involved but at the end of the day, the best thing that happens is you know you gave a performance you can be proud of and if you go home on that note, that is what it is."

Contestant Dave Fenley is 39 years old and he comes from Nashville, Tennessee. He is the oldest contestant left on the show this season. When it comes to Kirk Jay, he got a four-chair turn from the judges after he performed "Bless the Broken Road" during his blind audition. He is 22 years old and he is from Bay Minette, Alabama.

Recently, coach Blake Shelton spent Thanksgiving with longtime girlfriend and former Voice coach Gwen Stefani, along with their families. The two also recently released a music video for their holiday song “You Make It Feel Like Christmas" and this wouldn't be the first time that the two teamed up for a duet. When talking about the collaboration to Entertainment Tonight, Shelton said, "I sent Gwen a couple of lines of the song. She took it and made the song what it is. I just sent her an idea. She tries to say that I co-wrote it, but I just sang on it."

An insider recently dished on Shelton and Stefani's relationship to People, saying that, "They’re still madly in love and beyond inseparable. Blake has wanted to take his time with marriage, but he is absolutely committed to Gwen. They both feel they’ve found their true partner in life and plan to be together forever."

Season 15 of The Voice airs two nights per week, at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 7 p.m. CT, on the NBC network. Tune in to watch your favorite contestants in action, as they perform for America's votes.
