“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Heather Dubrow gave an update on her relationship with her castmate, Taylor Armstrong. During an October 2023 appearance on former “Bachelor” star Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files,” Dubrow noted that she and Armstrong had issues throughout RHOC season 17. According to Dubrow, Armstrong “sent [her] a perfectly nice text” after they filmed the season 17 reunion special in September 2023. The “Dubrow Diet” author decided to read the message to Viall while recording the podcast episode.

“She goes, ‘Hi Heather, I apologize for my part in the conflict we had in our relationship. I’ve always really liked you and I would really like for us to start fresh. Hope all is great with you and your family,'” said Dubrow.

The mother of four shared that she did not respond to Armstrong’s message. She also stated that Armstrong then sent her “a picture of [Dubrow],” without any context, two days after her initial text. Dubrow suggested she found Armstrong’s decision to send the picture odd.

“No words, just a photo,” said Dubrow.

Heather Dubrow Revealed Why She Did Not Reply to Taylor Armstrong

During “The Viall Files” episode, Dubrow shared why she did not reply to Armstrong’s text. She stated she does not “like apologies of convenience.” She explained that while she “appreciate[s] [Armstrong] reached out,” she believes “the timing is odd.”

“Why are you texting me now? Are you worried about your position on the show? You know, why?” continued Dubrow.

She also stated that she took issue with Armstrong after she uploaded a social media post in December 2022. Dubrow said she invited her entire cast for a holiday dinner after they wrapped production for RHOC season 17 in November 2022. According to Dubrow, Judge and Beador declined her invitation. She noted, however, that Armstrong attended the dinner, where they “sat next to” each other.

Dubrow stated that “a couple nights later,” the former RHOBH star went to “another holiday dinner” with Beador and Judge.

“Everyone [on RHOC] was invited, except me. Taylor posted a photo and wrote, ‘Holiday dinner, #dreamteam,'” said Dubrow.

Dubrow also stated she was unhappy that Armstrong made negative comments about her acting career on RHOC and in interviews. In addition, she said she believed her RHOC castmate was not being authentic when she requested her to join the cast of her upcoming movie, “Masterpiece.”

“I had told her a million times, I’ll audition. I’m made a casting tape. I said, ‘Yes,’ every single time. but it was a b***** thing, and she was just making a story out of it,” said Dubrow.

Heather Dubrow Discussed Her Issues With Her RHOC Season 17 Castmates

Dubrow discussed her issues with Armstrong while speaking to Us Weekly in August 2023. She stated that other actors reached out to her to share their disapproval of Armstrong and Judge’s comments regarding her acting credits on her IMDb page.

“I’ve gotten so many [direct messages] from actors near and far, just saying, ‘Wow, what a s**** thing to do.’ Yeah it wasn’t nice,” said Dubrow.

Dubrow also referenced that she had problems with several of her other co-stars, including Beador and Emily Simpson, throughout RHOC season 17. She stated she did not expect to have contentious conversations during the production of the show’s 17th season.

Dubrow made similar comments in a July 2023 interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.” She suggested she believed her castmates were seeking out opportunities to be upset with her.

“When you like someone, you understand they’ve got foibles, they’ve got idiosyncrasies. No one is perfect, we’ve all got our schtick. But when you like someone, you kind of forget it. And it’s like ‘Okay,’ roll your eyes. Or ‘Oh, yeah that’s just her, whatever.’ And when you don’t like someone or you want to have a problem with someone, you lean in,” said Dubrow.
