The former husband of a “Real Housewives of Orange County” star has married again — this time to a woman his ex-wife says they had a threesome with before they were divorced.

Former professional baseball player Jim Edmonds was married to Meghan King in October 2014, but the couple separated in 2019 and officially divorced in May 2021, according to Page Six. They appeared on RHOC seasons 10 through 12, which featured their struggles with infertility and the birth of their first child together. King left the show in 2018 while pregnant with their twin sons.

Now Edmonds, 52, has tied the knot to realtor Kortnie O’Connor, 37, according to People.

Meghan King’s Ex-Husband Jim Edmonds Re-Married in Italy

The ceremony was held at the 19th-century Villa D’Este in Lake Como, Italy, according to the couple, who revealed the plans to People in April.

“As I’m sure everyone knows, this isn’t Jim’s first time around. So we just wanted to make it about enjoying everybody — all of our close friends and family. An adventure for everybody to enjoy, not another wedding in the church,” O’Connor told the outlet of the upcoming wedding. “I planned it in Italy for that reason. Jim’s never been there. I thought it might be an experience for his kids, and just to celebrate our relationship and let everybody enjoy it as well.”

Edmonds and O’Connor announced their engagement in early August 2021 but were engaged in July, according to a post on her now-private Instagram account, People reported.

“Dear Diary, A month ago, Jimmy asked me to marry him in the most intimate and personal way. I said yes! Love, Kortnie,” she captioned the post, according to People at the time of the announcement.

O’Connor is a real estate specialist with the McMonigle Group, according to her LinkedIn profile. She’s also a model, according to a Casting Networks profile linked on her private Instagram page. She was named Playboy’s Cybergirl of the Month for January 2007, according to IMDb. Rukus magazine reported in 2009 that the California native had also acted in music videos with Santana, Nickelback, Foo Fighters and more, as well as in the HBO series “Entourage.” She told the outlet at the time that she’d like to “land a permanent role on a TV show, land a modeling campaign or become a Victoria’s Secret model.”

Edmonds is best known for his time as a Major League Baseball center fielder who appeared on the rosters of several teams from 1993 to 2010, including the California/Anaheim Angels, St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds. With a batting average of .284, 393 home runs and 1,199 runs batted in, Edmonds was announced as a 2016 candidate for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum but was removed from the ballot when he only received 2.5% of the vote. His excellence in the field was honored with eight Gold Glove awards between 1997 and 2005.

Edmonds Has Been Divorced 3 Times & Admitted to Having ‘an Inappropriate Conversation’ With a Woman While Married to King

This is Edmonds’ fourth marriage. He and his first wife, LeAnn Edmonds Horton, were married in 1993 and had two daughters together, Hayley and Lauren, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported in 2000 (via Newspapers.com). They divorced and Horton later died of colon cancer in 2015, according to The Sun.

Edmonds married his second wife, Allison Jayne Raski, in July 2008 in an informal ceremony at the St. Louis County Courthouse, according to an announcement at the time in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Edmonds played for the Chicago Cubs at the time and owned a restaurant, then known as F15teen, in St. Louis, according to the outlet. The restaurant is now known as Jim Edmonds’ Space 15. The couple had two children, son Landon and Daughter Sutton, before divorcing in 2014.

Five years into his marriage with King, the father of seven admitted to having “an inappropriate conversation” with a woman but denied having any physical contact, according to Us Weekly. “This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past,” he told the outlet in June 2019. “Clearly, I made a very poor decision to expose myself and my family to this type of person. For this, I am truly sorry and sought forgiveness from my wife.”

King spoke out on social media, writing, according to People, “I’m a simple girl. I wanted a solid marriage. I’m as loyal as they come and I wanted the vows we made when we exchanged our rings to be acted upon. Now my wedding ring symbolizes fraud. … Ultimately, I have hope our marriage can recover.” This wasn’t the only cheating accusation Edmonds faced, and the couple divorced in May 2021.

Page Six reported in January 2020 that King said she and Edmonds had had a threesome with another woman, whom the outlet named as O’Connor, and he had continued seeing her, ultimately publicly revealing the relationship in April 2020 after quarantining together during the coronavirus pandemic.

People reported on September 8, 2022, that King had obtained a temporary restraining order against Edmonds, accusing him of verbal abuse. On September 21, King dropped the restraining order and a request for a child protective order that hadn’t been granted, according to the outlet. “Let’s just say I’ll remain protected and safe with a binding document not accessible to the public,” she told the outlet.
