The Tuesday, December 13, 2022, episode of NBC’s “The Voice” revealed the winner of season 22 of the competition reality show.

We’ve got all the details on Tuesday night’s episode below.

MAJOR SPOILER WARNING: Do not read on if you don’t want to know who was eliminated and who won during the December 13 episode (season 22 finale) of “The Voice.”

Going into the finale, Gwen Stefani was the only coach without a team member in the running. The remaining contestants were Team Blake Shelton’s Bodie, Bryce Leatherwood and Brayden Lape, Team Camila Cabello’s Morgan Myles, and Team John Legend’s Omar Jose Cardona.

The winner of “The Voice” season 22 is Team Blake’s Bryce Leatherwood.

‘The Voice’ Finale Live Recap

The show started with a fun skit featuring “The Voice” coaches making their way toward the trophy “Mission Impossible” style. In the skit, Gwen nearly picked up the trophy before getting caught by Blake.

Then, Carson Daly introduced all four of the coaches.

Bryce Leatherwood was the first artist to take the stage where he performed with his coach, Blake Shelton. They sang “Hillbilly Bone” by Blake in a super energetic performance that got the crowd excited.

One Republic then took the stage for a quick performance.

John Legend and Omar Jose Cardona took the stage next to perform the song “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder.

Adam Lambert then took the stage to perform “Ordinary World” from his new album. He dedicated the performance to the LGBTQ community.

Girl Named Tom, last season’s winners, then performed their new Christmas song “One More Christmas.”

Next up was Brayden Lape and his “big bro” Blake Shelton. They sang “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” by Alan Jackson, and their performance was followed by Morgan Myles and her coach, Camila Cabello. They performed Camila’s song “Never Be the Same.”

Country music star Kane Brown took the stage after a cute faux-sitcom segment featuring Blake and John.

Bodie and Blake then took the stage together to sing “God’s Country” by Blake, which was followed by a performance by Kelly Clarkson.

That was followed by the ending of the sitcom skit with Blake and John where they realized the true meaning of the holidays was the friends we made along the way.

Who Won ‘The Voice’ Season 22?

All five finalists took the stage with just ten minutes of the season to go. All the performances were done, meaning Carson Daly just had to announce which of the contestants was voted to be the winner.

First, Daly asked Bryce which lessons he learned from Blake.

“Be myself. Be yourself and be who you are. Number two, have fun, man,” Bryce shared, thanking his coach.

Bodie said that Blake’s friendship has meant everything to him.

“From the beginning, I’ve felt so supported by you,” Bodie shared. Brayden told Blake “thank you” and said he’s grown so much since the Blind Auditions.

Morgan then thanked Camila, and Omar called John “the coolest dude I’ve ever met.”

Brayden Lape finished in fifth place. Fourth place went to Omar Jose Cardona.

The winner was then announced to be Bryce Leatherwood, delivering Shelton his ninth win overall. There was no runner-up or third place announcements, but those places went to Team Blake’s Bodie and Team Camila’s Morgan Myles.

“The Voice” is set to make its return to NBC on Monday, March 6, 2023 with coaches Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, Chance the Rapper, and Blake Shelton.
