The first artist marked safe and declared a finalist for this season was Team Blake’s Bryce Leatherwood.

Then, John Legend took the stage to perform his new song “Nervous.”

The last finalist announced was Team Blake’s Brayden Lape, meaning at least one team will be missing from the finale.

The first Instant Save performance came from Team Legend’s 17-year-old contestant Parijita Bastola. She performed “To Make You Feel My Love” by Adele.

“I’ve just been so proud to watch you continue to excel on this show. You are incredible,” he told Bastola.

Legend said he was “stunned” that Omar was in the position of having to perform for the Instant Save.
