‘The Voice’ 2022 Top 10 Results Live Recap

The episode opened with a performance of “The Weight” by The Band from Team Legend’s Kim Cruse, Parijita Bastola, Omar Jose Cardona, and coach John.

Host Carson Daly then brought out the Top 10 for the first results of the night, with Kique joining remotely, as he is still testing positive for Covid-19. In no particular order, Carson shared the first two safe artists are Bodie and Morgan Myles.

The next two safe artists are Omar Jose Cardona and Justin Aaron, meaning each coach has at least one artist in the semi-finals.

After the break, Gwen Stefani and her team member Justin Aaron performed Talking Head’s “Burning Down the House”. Kique couldn’t join his team due to Covid-19 protocol. Carson then announced the next results, revealing that Brayden Lape is safe.

Carson then revealed the final results, announcing that Parijita Bastola and Bryce Leatherwood are safe.

The bottom three are Kique, Rowan Grace, and Kim Cruse, whose last-chance performances are all below.

Rowan Grace began the last-chance performances, singing “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. Coach Blake said she shines on songs like this that everybody knows and loves, and pleaded with America to vote Rowan on to the semi-finals, saying that they would get back in her “wheelhouse”.

Kique’s last-chance performance had to be pre-recorded due to his quarantine, but he is still eligible for the Instant Save and shared a performance of “River” by Leon Bridges. Coach Gwen said she can’t believe Kique is “still in a box”, but that she was so proud of him, and that it is so rare for somebody like Kique to be so young and have such a unique and defined voice. She called him one of the “most gifted singers I ever met”.

Kim Cruse closed out the last-chance performances with her rendition of “Believe” by Brooks & Dunn which brought all four coaches to their feet. Coach John pointed this out for the viewers, saying Kim’s performance was “so spiritual, so moving”, and that Kim is one of the most talented vocalists he’s ever worked with.

Then, the Instant Save window opened during the commercial break, and host Carson Daly came back with the live results, announcing that Kim Cruse was Instantly Saved.

Rowan Grace and Kique were eliminated.
