6. Use Items Wisely
• There are many useful power-ups to give you a fighting edge. Explore every corner of the world to discover secret items, or save up your gold to buy them. Food will revive your health, while amulets will temporarily give you a massive combat boost. Items can be scarce, so it’s wise to save them for difficult levels and bosses.
7. Listen to Your Manager
• As you travel the road to fame and glory, you will be guided by your talent manager, Chuubei. He knows the ins and outs of fighting. Heeding his advice will help you play at your best.
8. More Stars Means More Experience
• As you finish each level, you will be rewarded a score of one, two or three stars. Maxing out each level with a triple-star score will help you level faster.
9. Perfect is Just the Beginning
• After you master a level with a triple-star score, you’ll unlock that level’s Superstar Challenge. Each of the game’s fifty levels has a unique challenge, and if you complete enough Superstar Challenges you’ll be rewarded with powerful fighting suits that boost your abilities even more.
10. Study Up
• As Masaru gains levels, he’ll steadily learn some new moves. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with how to pull them off, so that you can put them to good use later.
