Call of Duty WWII is taking players back to the WWII theater the series was built on. It’s been nine years since we’ve seen World War II in a Call of Duty game and Call of Duty WWII is looking to be a return to form after the divisive Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
The single-player story line ollows the US 1st Infantry Division as they fight their way through the European theater. The D-Day invasion of Normandy will be included in the game along with the Battle of the Bulge.
Sledgehammer Games is the developer of Call of Duty: WWII. They are best known as the developer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and they also co-developed Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward.
The release date is confirmed as November 3, 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. A beta will be available to those who pre-order and leaks are suggesting the beta will hit PS4 players first.
