Four New Heroes Joining ‘Fire Emblem Heroes’

Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes, the popular mobile game, is getting four new heroes next week from the upcoming Nintendo 3DS title, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

With a a full week to go from the launch of Fire Emblem Echoes, the new heroes making the jump to Fire Emblem Heroes are:

  • Celica
  • Boey
  • Genny
  • Mae

These four heroes will bring new quests and story chapters with them. The four heroes will join the other four already in the game from Fire Emblem Echoes – Alm, Clair, Faye and Lucas. For those of you wanted to get your hands on Alm and Celica before Fire Emblem Echoes, this is your chance.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia releases May 19 for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. The game will launch with a $45 Season Pass, higher than the cost of the game itself, and it will feature five DLC packs. You can also pick up the limited edition bundle if you can still find one in stock that will cost $60 but you’ll get several collectible items including an artbook. If you’re an amiibo collector, Nintendo is releasing a 2-pack of Alm and Celica retailing for $25. These amiibo will unlock special dungeons in the game.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is said to be the last mainline title to hit the Nintendo 3DS as production will presumably shift to the Switch. Fire Emblem fans still have at least one more title to look forward to after this release in Fire Emblem Warriors, a Dynasty Warriors spin-off that will feature popular Fire Emblem characters fighting through huge hoards of enemies.

Make sure to check out the New Nintendo 2DS XL, a new handheld joining the Nintendo 3DS family that will feature everything found on the the New Nintendo 3DS except the 3D feature. This handheld will cost $149.99 upon launch.

You can check out the new heroes joining Fire Emblem Heroes and the trailer for the upcoming Rite of Shadows event starting May 15 below.
