PlayStation Plus Free Games June 2017 Lineup

It’s almost June which means we’re getting another set of free games. These games are only available to PS Plus subscribers and will remain free as long as your subscription is active. This months lineup is very good after lacking some big-name titles for most of the year so far.

The free games included with your PS Plus subscription are as follows:

  • Killing Floor 2, PS4
  • Life is Strange, PS4
  • Abyss Odyssey, PS3
  • WRC 5: World Rally Championship, PS3
  • Neon Chrome, PS Vita (crossbuy with PS4)
  • Spy Chameleon, PS Vita (crossbuy on PS4)

The obvious heavy hitters are Killing Floor 2 and Life is Strange for the PS4.

Killing Floor 2 is a 6-player zombie co-op zombie killing game. That’s a genre, right? Players team up with other and try to overcome hoards for zombies as they try to stay alive as long as they can. Staying alive longer gives you access to more weapons which means you get to kill more zombies, or Zeds, as Killing Floor 2 likes to call them. One of this game’s hallmarks is the amount of gore that can be fit into one game. You’ll see severed limbs and gallons of blood just flying through the air as you play this game, all you have to do is hope that it’s not your blood.

Life is Strange is a 2015 episodic adventure game. Think of the popular Telltale series games but better. The game will put you in the shoes of Max Caulfield as she finds out she has the ability to rewind time. She does so so she can save her best friend. Of course, things don’t work out that way so you’ll be doing a whole lot more in this game during the span of five episodes. The game itself has multiple endings which encourages you to replay the game and make different choices. Life is Strange also sports a killer soundtrack so you won’t really mind that you’re playing it again for the third or fourth time.
