PlayStation Plus July 2017 Games Revealed

The newest lineup of free games coming to PlayStation Plus users has been revealed and it’s perhaps one of the best offerings in recent memory. While last month gave players the fantastic multiplayer shooter Killing Floor 2, July’s games seem to focus more on storytelling than chaotic action. Announced in a blog post, the six games coming to PlayStation Plus users are:

  • Until Dawn – PS4
  • Game of Thrones – PS4
  • Tokyo Jungle – PS3
  • Darkstalkers Resurrection – PS3
  • Element4l – PS Vita
  • Don’t Die, Mr. Robot – PS Vita (Cross Buy on PS4)

The big games are clearly Until Dawn and Game of Thrones, both of which are excellently crafted story-driven games that are worth your time. Until Dawn allows users to live out their horror movie dreams and take control of various people being stalked by a psycho killer during a snowstorm. All of your choices will matter in determining who lives and who dies, so play wisely if you want everyone to make it.

For fantasy lovers, developer Telltale’s Game of Thrones tasks users with navigating the dangerous landscape of Westeros and interacting with a variety of iconic series characters. These free games are also fantastic for Platinum trophy hunters as they are exceptionally easy to 100% and offer very little challenge if you use a guide.

Other games include Darkstalkers Resurrection which is a colorful, 2D fighting game and Don’t Die, Mr. Robot is a rather unique title that blends elements from the retro and bullet hell genres. The blog post also announced that the Orcs Must Die Unchained will release on July 18 and that PlayStation Plus members will get exclusive content. All of these games are free for you to download, however, unlike Xbox’s Games with Gold they will not be available the first of July. Make sure to add these titles to your library if you are looking for more single player games to play during the summer.
