E3 is coming this month and one of the bigger companies has announced its E3 2017 plans today.
Ubisoft is planning on showing off more from Far Cry 5 and South Park: The Fractured But Whole as well as more details about Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance and The Crew. None of this comes as a huge surprise since these games are all coming out soon and are Ubisoft’s heavy hitters. These are just the big names being talked about but Ubisoft promises to talk about new titles across a variety of platforms to keep viewers engaged with a week full of entertainment. Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is still on track to release for the Nintendo Switch so we might be getting more news about that.
Yves Guillemot, CEO and co-founder of Ubisoft described what E3 meant to the company in a press release.
“E3 is truly a moment of excitement and pride, not just for Ubisoft but for our entire industry,” said Guillemot. “Ultimately, Ubisoft’s games are the result of the collective efforts of our talented teams from all around the world, collaboration with the biggest names in entertainment, and contributions from the players themselves. That’s why we can’t wait for the thousands of fans at this year’s E3 – and the millions watching from home – to discover our unique take on creating game worlds and the action-packed line-up we have in store for them.”
Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference is scheduled for June 12 at 4 p.m. ET. A 40-minute pre-show starts at 3:20 p.m. The pre-show and conference will be broadcast live from Ubisoft.com, Ubisoft’s YouTube channel and Ubisoft’s Twitch channel.
If you are attending E3 this year, you will have a chance to play Ubisoft’s games at its booth (#1623, South Hall, LACC) from June 13 to 15.
Ubisoft recently underwent a full logo overhaul, which is why the picture at the top may not make total sense to you. It was their first logo change in 14 years.
