Keto Diet: What to Eat and What to Avoid

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago

The Ketogenic Diet forces the body to burn fat instead of carbohydrates, so the Keto diet is a low-carb way of eating. If you’re eating Keto, your diet will be mostly fat, protein, and leafy vegetables.

For most people, about 60-80% of your daily calories will come from fats. You’ll get about 15-35% of your calories from protein, and 5% from carbs. Get more information about the Keto diet here.
