Drake‘s father Dennis Graham sent fans into a frenzy on Sunday night when he posted an Instagram photo with the caption “tonight’s the night” and the hashtag “#MoreLife.” As to be expected, many thought this was the confirmation they were hoping for that Drake’s playlist More Life would finally see the light of day.
That wasn’t the case. Instead, it was revealed that Graham was simply promoting his own live performance in Delilah with his son’s popular phrase. When asked by TMZ if he feels guilty for the mix-up, Graham said that he absolutely does not. In fact, he feels like he has just as much a right to use it as his superstar son: “Anything I post I always put ‘More Life’ because that’s what we’re looking for: ‘More Life.’ I’m affiliated with ‘More Life,’ I’m the face of ‘More Life,” he says in his video interview, before adding that if fans “had read the whole post, they would’ve seen that I am performing.”
