Quickley (hip) will not play Tuesday against the Magic, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.careports. Quickley got in an individual workout at Monday's practice, but he'll sit out for a fourth game in a row. His next chance to play comes Thursday against Atlanta, but it's clear the Raptors want him to be 100 percent before he gets the green light.

Out again for Tuesday
Quickley (hip) will not play Tuesday against the Magic, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.careports. Quickley got in an individual workout at Monday's practice, but he'll sit out for a fourth game in a row. His next chance to play comes Thursday against Atlanta, but it's clear the Raptors want him to be 100 percent before he gets the green light.
Another absence coming
Quickley (groin) won't play in Friday's game versus the Bucks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Quickley's absence streak will extend to three games Friday due to a left groin strain. Davion Mitchell will likely continue to start until he's able to return to action. Quickley's next chance to suit up is Tuesday's matchup with Orlando.
Officially out Wednesday
Quickley (groin) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Boston, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. After missing Monday's game against the Warriors, the Raptors updated Quickley's injury from hip soreness to a left groin strain. He wasn't able to practice Tuesday, but he's still listed as day-to-day which means a return against the Bucks on Friday could be on the table. Davion Mitchell will likely see extended minutes against Boston.
Dealing with groin strain
Quickley is battling a left groin strain and is considered day-to-day, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. The Raptors previously described his injury as hip soreness, so it appears to be a little more serious. Quickley did not practice Tuesday and Lewenberg is reporting that the guard is unlikely to suit up against Boston on Wednesday. If Quickley is unable to play, Davion Mitchell would likely see extended minutes for Toronto after getting 27 against the Warriors on Monday, though he didn't do much with them -- he finished scoreless with six assists.
Not playing Monday vs. Golden State
Quickley (hip) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Warriors, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports. Raptors' head coach Darko Rajakovic said Monday that Quickley has been dealing with a left hip issue, which flared up earlier in the morning and will prevent him from playing against Golden State, per Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca. Quickley will have his hip re-evaluated Tuesday, which will provide a better picture on whether he'll be able to play Wednesday against the Celtics. Davion Mitchell and Jamal Shead will both see increased playing time Monday due to Quickley's injury.
Downgraded to questionable
Quickley is questionable for Monday's game versus the Warriors with left hip soreness, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports. Quickley was a late addition to the injury report and that's a big concern for fantasy managers. The Raptors may not want to push Quickley at less than 100 percent considering how their season has gone so far. If the point guard sits, Bruce Brown and Jamal Shead could see more run, and it's possible that Davion Mitchell could sneak back into the rotation.
Scores season-high 25 points
Quickley posted 25 points (7-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 123-114 loss to Detroit. Quickley didn't have his best shooting percentage, as he made only 35 percent of his 20 shots from the floor, but that was enough to record a season-high scoring output. Quickley could experience an uptick in his fantasy value if he shows more consistency on a game-to-game basis, though. Over his six appearances since returning from an elbow injury, Quickley has surpassed the 20-point mark thrice, but he's failed to score more than 11 points in the other three.
Leading scorer for Raps in loss
Quickley recorded 22 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 112-98 loss to the Knicks. The former Knick delivered a solid revenge game, leading the Raptors in scoring while posting his highest points total since returning from an elbow injury at the beginning of January. In four games since rejoining the lineup, Quickley is averaging 16.3 points, 8.5 assists, 3.0 boards, 2.0 threes and 0.8 steals, and Wednesday was the first time in seven appearances this season he's shot better than 50.0 percent from the floor. If he can stay healthy, Quickley could be poised for a very productive second half of the season.
Struggles from field Friday
Quickley ended Friday's 106-97 loss to Orlando with 11 points (4-17 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and 11 assists over 33 minutes. The shooting line was far from being efficient, but that shouldn't matter much as long as Quickley continues to fill the stat sheet. He posted a second straight double-double since returning from a 22-game absence due to a partial UCL tear in his left elbow. His presence in the backcourt should give a sizable boost to the Raptors on offense while relieving some of the playmaking pressure off the shoulders of players such as Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett.
