Gradey Dick: Breaking News

Dick ended Sunday's 139-87 win over the Magic with 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes. Dick has been used sparingly in recent weeks, but he took advantage of some extra touches in this 52-point blowout win. Over his last six outings, he's averaging just 13.7 minutes per contest with 6.8 points, 1.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds on 40.0 percent shooting from the field.

Dick registered 10 points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 15 minutes during Sunday's 120-98 loss to Phoenix. The 2023 first-rounder has been part of Toronto's rotation for just two of the team's last five contests, implying he's not a major aspect of the mix for the time being. That said, Dick has an opportunity to remain in the lineup for Monday's matchup with the Jazz due to the absence of Immanuel Quickley (foot).

Dick (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Friday in the Raptors' 122-115 win over the Suns. Dick had appeared in each of Toronto's previous five contests while averaging 5.8 points in 6.8 minutes, but he ended up being the odd man out after head coach Darko Rajakovic condensed his rotation to nine Friday. The third-year wing's chances of re-emerging as a regular in the rotation will become even more difficult moving forward, as Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) appears to be closing in on a return, which will bring the Toronto roster back to full strength.
