Mogbo is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Heat, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. The Raptors will start the game without a traditional point guard, so RJ Barrett is likely to be the one who orchestrates the offense. Mogbo will add size in the frontcourt alongside Jakob Poeltl. This will be the second career start for the big man, who's averaging 7.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game in his last five appearances off the bench.

Jonathan Mogbo Latest News
Starting vs. Miami
Productive off bench Thursday
Mogbo closed with 17 points (6-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal over 23 minutes during Thursday's 129-92 loss to the Thunder. Mogbo was recalled from the Raptors 905, Toronto's G League affiliate, on Thursday after suiting up for them earlier in the day, scoring nine points across 13 minutes. Even though he's more known for his defensive prowess than his scoring ability, he made his presence felt Thursday night for Toronto in what turned out to be his second appearance in less than 12 hours. Despite the fact the Raptors suffered a 37-point blowout loss, this was Mogbo's best performance of the season. However, when Jakob Poeltl (illness) is available again, Mogbo is not likely to produce double-digit points consistently enough to have any fantasy upside in most formats.
Returns to Friday's game
Mogbo (knee) has returned to Friday's game against the Heat, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Mogbo briefly left for the locker room due to a knee injury, but he is back on the floor for the Raptors.
Leaves game due to knee injury
Mogbo (knee) went to the locker room in the second quarter of Friday's game against the Heat, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Mogbo limped off the court after injuring his knee and went to the locker room shortly after. Bruno Fernando and Chris Boucher will see an uptick in playing time while Mogbo is sidelined.
Quality outing off bench
Mogbo had six points (3-6 FG), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 19 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 win over the Timberwolves. Despite the return of Scottie Barnes (eye), Mogbo remained one of Toronto's primary bench options in frontcourt rotation. However, the rookie forward has tallied double-digit points in just two of his 16 appearances this season, and the Raptors assigned Mogbo to the G League's Raptors 905 on Friday, per Aaron Rose of SI.com. Mogbo should be back with the NBA club by Sunday's game in Cleveland, though his playing time may be limited moving forward.
Headed to G League
The Raptors assigned Mogbo to the G League's Raptors 905 on Friday, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Mogbo is averaging 4.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 15.7 minutes across 16 appearances for the Raptors in the NBA this season. The rookie forward should receive increased playing time while in the G League.
Good to go vs. Clippers
Mogbo (hip) is available for Saturday's game against the Clippers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Mogbo was forced to leave Wednesday's game against the Kings due to a right hip pointer, but the injury isn't severe enough to be sidelined Saturday. Across nine regular-season games (including one start), the rookie second-round pick is averaging 6.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals over 17.7 minutes per game.
Probable for Saturday
Mogbo (hip) is probable for Saturday's game against the Clippers, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. Mogbo exited Wednesday's loss to the Kings early due to a right hip pointer, though he will likely give it a go Saturday after practicing Friday. The rookie has appeared in nine regular-season games (one start), during which he has averaged 6.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks across 17.7 minutes per game.
Exits early Wednesday
Mogbo has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Kings due to a right hip pointer, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. He'll finish with five points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and a steal across 18 minutes Mogbo departed from Wednesday's contest with 9:21 left in the fourth quarter and didn't return. The rookie has been forced into a larger role with the Raptors while the team deals with a plethora of injuries. He's seen 15 or more minutes in seven of nine appearances. His next chance to play will come Saturday against the Clippers, the first leg of a back-to-back set.
