Missi ended with 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist in 33 minutes during Thursday's 133-113 loss to Houston. Missi posted a team-high mark in rebounds while logging his eighth double-double through 27 regular-season appearances. The rookie big man has delivered a solid start to his career thus far, and he should continue to play significant minutes for the club, as he has started in 21 of his last 22 games while averaging 26.0 minutes per game on the season. Over his last five outings, Missi has averaged 10.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 0.8 assists while shooting 55.3 percent from the field across 31.8 minutes per contest.

Double-doubles in loss
Ties career high on glass
Missi contributed nine points (4-7 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's 119-104 loss to Indiana. The 14 boards tied the rookie's career high, a mark he's reached three times in the last three weeks. Missi remains an inconsistent offensive contributor, scoring in double digits only once in his last five contests, but he's emerged as a force on the glass. Over the last 10 games, he's pulled down double-digit rebounds seven times, averaging 12.8 points, 11.0 boards and 1.5 blocks over that stretch while shooting 57.3 percent from the floor.
Posts massive double-double
Missi finished with 18 points (6-14 FG, 6-7 FT), 14 rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Sunday's 121-116 loss to the Spurs. Missi's standout rookie season continued Sunday as he registered his sixth double-double of the campaign. He matched his career-best mark of 14 rebounds, and he's been trending straight up in fantasy leagues. Over his last five games, he's posting averages of 13.8 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 28.2 minutes.
Good to go Thursday
Missi (ankle) is available for Thursday's game versus the Suns, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports. Missi has been upgraded from questionable to available Thursday despite dealing with a sprained right ankle. The rookie center is averaging 15.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.0 steals in 29.0 minutes across his last five appearances.
Questionable for Thursday
Missi is questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns due to a right ankle sprain. Missi is coming off one of his best performances of the season after a 23-point, 12-rebound double-double in the loss to the Hawks on Monday. He's started the last four games, scoring in double digits in each of those contests and also averaging 9.8 boards per game. If he can't go Thursday, then Daniel Theis would likely start at center.
Lands career-high 21 points
Missi registered 23 points (11-14 FG, 1-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Monday's 124-112 loss to the Hawks. Missi recorded his third double-double in the past five games, including a career-high 21 points. Despite a brief trip to the locker room, Missi was able to return to action, also playing a career-high 35 minutes. The Pelicans are facing an uphill battle to make the playoffs, having won just four of their first 22 games. That could ensure Missi sticks in a sizeable role, even when they do get their full roster back on the court.
Checks back in
Missi (leg) returned for the start of the second quarter Monday against Atlanta, per the team's television broadcast. Missi limped off the floor seven minutes into the first quarter, but the medical staff was quick to clear him. He's expected to play a large role the rest of the way and made an impact upon his return by adding six points on four attempts from the field.
Heads to locker room
Missi (leg) went back to the locker room in the first quarter of Monday's game against the Hawks, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports. Missi came up limping midway through the first quarter, and he quickly went back to the locker room. Daniel Theis would be slated to see increased minutes at center if Missi is unable to return to Monday's contest.
Productive again Friday
Missi finished with 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-6 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal in 31 minutes during Friday's 120-109 loss to the Grizzlies. Missi recorded his second double-double in the past three games, adding multiple blocks for the third straight game. It's been a varied season for the rookie center, although much better of late. Over the past two weeks, he has averaged 11.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.5 combined steals and blocks in 26.8 minutes per game. Although his productivity could take a hit when the Pelicans are fully healthy, Missi should continue to play as their primary center option moving forward.
