Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey got into a heated argument on the first day of filming American Idol and the video leaked online. In the video, Nicki Minaj is seen dressed in a pink outfit with matching hair telling off Mariah Carey. Allegedly, in a comment made that was not caught on camera, Minaj stated, “If I had a gun, I would shoot her,” but denied making the comment when Mariah confronted her.
The blow out is said to have resulted from a disagreement over a contestants performance. Production was shut down for the day following the argument.
In the leaked video, Nicki is heard saying:
‘I told them I’m not f*****g putting up with her f*****g highness over there [Referring to Mariah]. Figure it the f*** out. Figure it out.’
Luckily, the second day of filming returned to normal and the two superstars behaved themselves and acted civil towards each other.
