U.S. Women’s Soccer goalkeeper Hope Solo’s new husband has been arrested…AGAIN. Former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens was remanded in custody on Wednesday in Florida on violation of his parole.
Cops took Stevens in at about 10 a.m. local time and he was booked about an hour later in by Hillsborough County’s Sheriff Office. Stevens’ was originally arrested for marijuana violations in 2010, violations which saw him cut from the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Stevens was arrested while he was in Washington State earlier this month on suspicion of assault following an altercation at Solo’s home near Seattle. The following day Hope and Jerramy tied the knot.
Solo told AP today:
It’s unfortunate what the media can do to judge before the facts are out there. It’s hard to see, but it’s a hard truth, and it’s part of life, I’m happy. I’m happily married. I would never stand for domestic violence. I’ve never been hit in my life.”
And then he was arrested again.
Stevens career has had numerous run-ins with the law going back to his time as a college student at Washington State, his rap sheet includes assault, battery, and sexual assault.
