Matthew McConaughey and his model wife Camila Alves are the parents of yet another child.
This time it’s a Texas-sized nine-pound baby boy, who they named Livingston. McConaughey is currently a shadow of himself after losing 30 pounds or more to act in The Dallas Buyers Club, which is being filmed in New Orleans – but maybe now he’ll put back on some baby weight too.
McConaughey took to his WhoSay account to make the announcement:
Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey, was born at 7.43am on 12.28.12. He greeted the world at 9lbs and 21 inches. Bless up(sic) and thank you for all the well wishes. Happy New Year and just keep livin.
Livingston has two siblings – Vida, three and Levi, who’s four. It’s reported that Alves gave birth to the boy in Austin, Texas, where the couple and their family lives. McConaughey and Alves have been together since 2006 and married this past June. McConaughey announced his wife’s third pregnancy on Independence Day weekend.
