The Idaho senator was busted for drunk driving early Sunday morning around 12:45 a.m. in Alexandria, Va. He was pulled over by a local police officer on routine patrol and was taken to the Alexandria jail.

Police spokesman Craig T. Fifern said the officer spotted Crapo running a red light while stopped at the intersection of Hume Avenue and Mount Vernon.
