The death toll had previously been estimated at ten, but the number has now reached truly tragic levels as a tornado ripped through the city of Moore, Oklahoma on Monday afternoon. This is still being viewed as a preliminary number and that number is expected to rise.
If reports are to be believed many of the dead so far may have been students at Plaza Towers Elementary school.

KFOR reports that volunteers have been searching cars for possible dead bodies, they have been marking those that are empty with an “X”.
The tornado was so powerful, there are reports of debris from Moore being found in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
