From Mills’ Blog lsjourney.com via Daily Mail

Lindsay Mills, 28, is the girlfriend of NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden. It’s not believed that Mills has had any role or knowledge of her beau’s plans to release revelations about the US Government plan “PRISM” in the biggest government leak since Bradley Manning’s Wikileaks Cables. Her identity was first revealed by news magazine show Inside Edition.

Here’s what you need to know about this abandoned beauty…

Mills was abandoned by Snowden without any warning. It’s alleged that Snowden just told Mills that he had to leave for a few weeks without any explanation. However, according to NBC, Snowden told the NSA that he was taking a leave of absence to receive treatment for epilepsy, which he was diagnosed with last year. It’s now believed that Snowden is on the run in Hong Kong.

Snowden told The Guardian newspaper in an interview about leaving his girlfriend.

That is not an uncommon occurrence for someone who has spent the last decade working in the intelligence world.

Anderson Cooper reported that Mills is no longer in Hawaii and had returned to the mainland recently, she is believed to be visiting friends on the West Coast.

In a since deleted blog post, Mills wrote about Snowden’s departure saying:

I don’t know what will happen from here. I don’t know how to feel normal…

My world has opened and closed all at once. Leaving me lost at sea without a compass … at the moment all I can feel is alone.

2. She Has an Active Internet Presence

Inside Edition reports that she’s a former ballet dancer and a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, the Daily Mail reports that she now works with an “acrobatic troupe in Hawaii.”

She was an active blogger, often telling tales of her and Snowden’s love, life, and adventures in Hawaii. Mills’ blog was taken down earlier this week but it was entitled, “Adventures of a World-Traveling, Pole-Dancing, Super Hero.” On July 30 2012, she wrote:

For those that have forgotten, I moved to Hawaii to continue my relationship with E. It has been quite an up-and-down emotional rollercoaster since the moment I stepped off the plane.

Later on in the summer she wrote:

Friday night I was able to finally introduce E to my skeptical friends (they weren’t quite sure E existed),

We lovingly crammed a large group into a small corner of a delicious Japanese restaurant and filled our bellies with sushi, tempura, and good conversation….

Woke up Saturday to find an invitation for more sushi and a night of karaoke with E’s co-workers. Not wanting to waste the social momentum I gently nudged my dear into more social goodness.

She was also very active on instagram and twitter posting over 700 photos of herself in various levels on undress and suggestiveness.

3. The NSA Have Paid Her a Visit

Mills has been visited by the NSA in light of her boyfriend’s disappearance. Snowden told the Guardian that he was prepared to sever ties with those he loved to ensure information about PRISM was leaked to the public domain.

4. She Had Been Working as a Pole-Dancer

Mills’ primary duties in the Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe is a pole-dancer. The Honalulu Star-Advertiser reports:

Mills is fairly new to the group and performs pole dancing, partner acrobatics, and aerial dance, the source told the Star-Advertiser. She typically performs as part of a smaller group of acrobats every first Friday of the month at Mercury Bar, in downtown Honolulu.

A troupe member told the Honolulu Star Advertiser that he met Snowden on several occasions and that he seemed “quiet.”

The Guardian reports that Mills often used her blog as a “promotional tool,” for the dance troupe.

5. The Couple Shared a Home in a Quiet Honolulu Suburb

The couple lived in a rented home on Eleu Street in Waipahu, about 25 miles from downtown Honolulu.

On March 15 she wrote that she and Snowden were moving, she said:

We received word that we have to move out of our house by May 1, E is transferring jobs. And I am looking to take a mini trip back east.
