An Amber Alert was issued Friday night in San Diego for two Nevada children believed to have been abducted by their parents, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 9-year-old Lillianna Ramirez and 3-year-old Martin Angel Rosales Jr., were kidnapped from Nevada’s Department of Child and Family Services on Wednesday in Elko. The suspects are Martin’s father, Martin Cisneras Rosales, 34, and the mother of both children, Amber Schenck, 29.

Rosales had a restraining order preventing him from having contact with his son and a court order said the children were “in danger of serious physical harm or death” with their parents. It is believed that the parents are trying to flee to Mexico with them.

Authorities said Rosales has “violent tendencies.”

The Amber Alert was also issued in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano counties, Sacramento, Yolo, Sierra, Placer and Nevada counties as well as the majority of counties south of San Joaquin.

Rosales and Schenck are believed to be driving a blue Ford Mustang. Rosales is Hispanic and has dark hair and dark eyes. Schenk is white and has sandy hair and blue eyes. The children both have brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities ask anyone with information to call 911.
