A bomb went off in a bus, driving in traffic, in the Russian city of Volgograd today. At :10 seconds into the Russian newscast, you can see the explosion. Reuters estimates that at least six people have died and 32 people were injured.
Early signs indicate that a female suicide bomber activated the weapon. She was from the Russian republic of Dagestan, a region known for Islamist conflict.
It’s no surprise that the video was captured as Russia is known for the ubiquitous prevalence of dashcams, key in a land where fraud is common, and road safety is minimal.
