Dubai. The place where fireworks displays go on for 62 miles and world records are broken. Tonight, as the paradise city welcomed 2014, the organizers clearly wanted to leave 2013 with a bang, literally.
In total, 400,000 fireworks were let off in a pyrotechnics party that stretched across 62 miles of waterfront.
The previous world record was held by the Kuwaitis, who let off a measly 77,000 fireworks on New Year’s Eve last year.
