When is the Sochi Olympics’ Opening Ceremony?

The opening festivities for the Sochi games begin at 11 a.m. ET on February 7 but sadly the ceremony won’t be shown live on NBC, the network that’s carrying the games. It will be on the peacock network at 7:30 ET on the Friday night.

Sochi in Russia is nine hours ahead of the Eastern Standard Time. The local time in Russia when the opening ceremony kicks off will be 8 p.m. inside Sochi’s Fisht Olympic Stadium.
