Final Score: Giants 27, Colts 26
All hail Ryan Nassib.
The Giants trailed the Colts 26-0 in Saturday night’s preseason game in Indianapolis. But Nassib threw for 158 yards and a touchdown in relief of Eli Manning and Curtis Painter, helping lead Big Blue to a massive comeback that left them with a 3-0 preseason record.
The Giants trailed 23-0 heading into the fourth quarter and 26-0 after a Colts field goal on the fist play of the fourth.
But Painter orchestrated one scoring drive, the Giants scored on a fumble recovery, and Nassib orchestrated two more fourth-quarter touchdowns against the Colts third- and fourth-stringers, leading the Giants to the improbable win.
TOUCHDOWN GIANTS! Nassib finds Washington for the 4-yard score.
After being down 26-0 in the 4th, they now lead 27-26 with 55 secs left.
