Taylor Love Blake is the Lincolnton High School student who has been missing in North Carolina since September 12, reports WCNC. Blake is 16 years old.
Here’s what we know so far:
1. She’s Wearing a Man’s Ring
She has been described as having a fair complexion, reddish-brown hair, hazel eyes. Blake is 5-foot-9 and weighs 170 pounds. When she was last seen on September 12, Blake was wearing a long-sleeved t-shirt, jeans and backpack. She had a necklace with a man’s ring on it.
2. A Man Claimed to Have Been Accused of ‘Hiding’ Blake
A man named David Hoyle has been contacted by police in the Lincolnton area. According to Facebook post by Hoyle, “cops just came to my house cuz they think I’m hiding her.” On his page, Blake says that he in the National Guard.
On September 6, Hoyle commented on one of the Blake’s photos, calling it “beautiful.” On September 7, Hoyle commented again, asking Blake to “message” him.
3. She Has Family in Different States
According to police in Lincolnton, Blake has family and friends in South Carolina and Florida.
4. Blake Is a High School Student
She’s a student at Lincolnton High School.
5. She’s a Proud Country Girl
On Facebook, Blake regularly posts inspirational and pro-military memes. Another meme she posted in April 2013, features two confederate flags and the words, “My days are all filled with an east country charm. Thank God I’m a country girl.”
