One of the most unpopular men has sounded off on Twitter about the Umpqua Community College shooting that killed ten people in Oregon on October 1. The killer of unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman, wrote on Twitter about the shooting “Kill my Christian brethren, I will take the life out of you and everyone you loved.” The suspect in the shooting is Chris Harper Mercer, 26. It had been reported by witnesses that prior to opening fire in Professor Larry Levine’s class, he asked his victims what religion they were, those who said they were Christian were shot in the head.
On his online dating profile, Harper Mercer made it clear that he didn’t like organized religion.
He then wrote the Latin phrase “Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum,” which translated means “If you want peace prepare for war.” The phrase is generally used by several military groups.
