This is a close-up photo of the Lesedi La Rona. This diamond is 1,109 carats, dwarfing the huge 813 carat Constellation diamond that was just sold for $63 million. Lesedi is the second-largest "gem quality" diamond ever discovered. With the Constellation getting the highest sale price ever for a rough diamond, it's very possible that the Lesedi La Rona will break more records when it's sold. (Lucara)
